专家简介：Dr. Liping Fang is Professor of Mechanical, Industrial, and Mechatronics Engineering; former Chair of the Department of Mechanical and Industrial Engineering (2004 to 2012); former Associate Dean, Undergraduate Programs and Student Affairs, Faculty of Engineering and Architectural Science (2012 to 2017 and 2018 to 2023); and former Acting Dean, Faculty of Engineering and Architectural Science (August, 2019 to January, 2020) at Toronto Metropolitan University (formerly Ryerson University), Toronto, Canada. His research interests include management engineering, industrial engineering, and systems engineering. He received the 2024 IEEE SMC Lotfi A. Zadeh Pioneer Award from the IEEE Systems, Man, and Cybernetics (SMC) Society, 2020 Group Decision and Negotiation Section Award within the Institute for Operations Research and the Management Sciences (INFORMS), and 2019 ICWRER Lifetime Achievement Award from the International Conferences on Water Resources and Environment Research (ICWRER) Steering Committee. He is a Fellow of the Canadian Academy of Engineering (FCAE), the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (FIEEE), and the Engineering Institute of Canada (FEIC) as well as a registered Professional Engineer in Ontario.
